Day 1: Mombasa to Tsavo East

  • Depart from Mombasa and drive to Tsavo East National Park via Bachuma Gate.
  • Begin a game drive en route to the lodge/camp, with possible sightings of red elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and cheetahs.
  • Check-in and enjoy lunch.
  • In the afternoon, head out for a game drive, visiting Mudanda Rock, a scenic viewpoint where elephants gather, and exploring the Galana River, home to hippos and crocodiles.
  • Visit the Yatta Plateau, the world's longest lava flow.
  • Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

  • After breakfast, check out and drive to Amboseli National Park, passing through Tsavo West.
  • Arrive in Amboseli, check in, and have lunch.

    • Large elephant herds with Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop.
    • Observation Hill, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Amboseli.
    • Swamps teeming with hippos, buffaloes, and diverse bird species.
  • Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

  • After breakfast, check out and drive to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, a private conservancy near Tsavo.

  • Have lunch and relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive, where you might see elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and leopards.
  • Relax at the lodge while watching wildlife at the floodlit waterhole.
  • For an added experience, take an optional night game drive, offering a chance to spot nocturnal animals such as leopards, bush babies, and hyenas.
  • Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Taita Hills to Nairobi/ Mombasa

  • Start with an early morning game drive, capturing the beauty of sunrise and wildlife activity at the waterholes.
  • After breakfast, check out and depart for either:
    • Mombasa, arriving by midday.
    • Nairobi, arriving by late afternoon.
